Just sharing a picture of hidden mickeys on my own front porch! When the Patterned Concrete guys were pouring our new walk and porch, I asked them to put in some hidden mickeys. The man looked at me kind of funny, and asked if I meant a small bottle of Jack Daniels! I forget that not everyone is familiar with the term "hidden mickey." Anyway, I asked him to place a few here and there, when I came back he'd put about 15! So now when kids come to visit, they are always the first ones to notice the mickey heads, and then I have them try to find them all. These are just pictures of the guys pouring the sidewalk and porch, the front porch and a close-up of the hidden mickeys in question. To make the mickey shape, I gave them one of the egg/pancake rings they sell in the kitchen section at WDW, and it worked really well. I counted yesterday and we have 15 mickeys. I always joke that our house looks like grown ups live here until they see the hidden mickeys. But anybody who knows me, knows how much I love Disney (especially the villains), so they are not surprised by our mickey heads.
